Traditional satchel for kids

I’m on the lookout for a satchel for Dd-I’d like a fairly traditional style one but don’t want it to cost the earth so doesn’t need to be leather necessarily. Cambridge satchel co is way over budget but they are lovely! Probably looking around £35 max. Anyone seen anything nice?

Just watching as I am also looking for one for DD. I spotted some waterproof canvas ones on holiday in france last year and am annoyed i didn't get one at the time as they had both shoulder strap and backpack straps. Been looking ever since.

I thought no those might be a bit big riskit4biscuit although accesssorize and ASOS is a good shout, never thought of there. Marks didn’t really have anything, although probably wrong time of year to be looking!

this may not be traditional enough for you. I bought it for dd as a school bag (she's 15) but was too small for her - it cannot take A4 size books - but may be fine for a smaller child (depending what you want to put in it). My dd still uses it but not as a school bag.

She’s 5. Oh that’s a great deal on the zatchels I’ll have a look! I like that cath kidston one but I like the pale blue one with polka dots even more that’s out of stock . They will maybe get some nice new ones in.
