Help! Philips Lumea wrong attachment

Hi all,
I’m sorry I didn’t know where to post this, and Philips are offline today as Sunday. Just a note that I do get severe health anxiety (have been ok for a year but this might be a trigger sigh)
In a bit of a panic and wondering if anyone can reassure me.
So baby brain here forgot to change the attachment from body to face (Philips lumea), and used on face. I did think I can ‘feel’ it which isn’t usual, but with the time back from last time I assumed there were more hairs being ‘zapped’.
Only when I went to put it away did I realise that I’ve just used the device with the body attachment on my face (chin, cheeks, sideburns and upper lip).
Really worried I have caused damage? Face feels fine, just as it would after using face attachment. Paranoid now though that there’s an extra filter on face attachment for a specific reason (I know Ipl can’t cause cancer-but anxiety making me worried now!).
Any responses welcome (reassuring ones that is!)

Sorry I don't have one of these myself so may be unhelpful, but isn't the face attachment just smaller in size than the body one? I would imagine even if it is stronger it wouldn't be so strong as to cause damage from one use, if at all.

AFAIK the only difference is an extra film to avoid sensitivity issues and a smaller frame to get into nooks and crannies better. If you've had no immediate sensitivity issues I wouldn't worry too much and just be extra diligent with sunscreen use over the next two weeks (which you should be doing anyhow with IPL treatments).

What botemp said. You haven’t done any harm using the body attachment on your face.

Phew thank you everyone, the irrational thoughts can take over sometimes Sad

I’ve just done exactly the same thing. Was all ok? I didn’t know it had an extra uv filter and I was just in a rush and forgot :-/
