Styling a back brace

I have to wear a back brace for the next 6 weeks. It's off-white plaster cast with a bandage type outer layer. And it's awful. So far I've been covering it up with oversized zip hoodies but look like nothing on earth even with makeup and hair done. I did manage a pair of jeggings yesterday instead of the usual black/navy leggings and have found long sleeve fitted tops most comfy under.
Has anyone decorated a brace before and if so how and in what style? I'd love to be able to wear my nice clothes over/under it. Would love some advice please.

Wonder if you're wearing long sleeve tops underneath if you could try a poncho type thing over the top instead of a hoody? I will try to find a link to what I mean.

Kimono style thingy? Pajama style tops? I'm not stylish person but I'm thinking of the kind of loose clothes I've seen around

Something like one of these with your jeggings? There are some lovely ones about but I can't find them online, these are just the rough idea!
