I came across their site when browsing. Ridiculously expensive face creams for a monthly subscription to their 'club'. On the last page a free trial of one pot of cream for £4.95 postage. The cream could be returned - or so it seemed. I signed up for this and gave my card details for the postage, and a couple of days later received a very ordinary face cream, mostly water (sorry, 'aqua') and glycerin.
On checking my bank account I discovered I had been charged £89.95 as a monthly subscription to the 'Club'! I contacted them & was told (1) I had signed up to the Club (2) I could cancel but the £89.95 would not be repaid as it was my agreed subscription for one month. (3) they wouldn't take the cream back.
Much shouting and argument - and the woman offered a refund of half the price. I caved in and agreed.
Yesterday I arrived home to find - another pot of their face cream had been delivered! I have emailed my bank with instructions not to pay the company any more of my money. Just hope I'm in time.
