Fancy holiday what to wear!?!

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help? I am going on a fancy holiday in May with my partner and have no idea what to wear! It's a work event and is a dress for dinner set up. There will be lots of well dressed, well off people there and I want to feel good.

I am a size ten and 5ft1 so maxi dresses normally look a bit long. Can anyone suggest any good brands to look at or particular styles I should try? The holiday is in Spain and it will be warm.

I think you'll need to wait until around April when summer stock is everywhere. Perhaps search for cotton or linen rich fabrics on Zara, asos and Ted Baker's websites and create a collection of photos to work out what goes with what. I did see nice shorts on Boden already. H&M can be good for cotton basics. Even TKmaxx do good cotton and silk beach cover ups.
Capri trousers and a smart blazer to travel in?
