Has anyone had LVL lash treatment?

Saw an article about minimal make up recently in Grazia and this treatment was mentioned. I am interested as (a) my lashes are a bit crap (b) I am clumsy at applying mascara and always manage to screw it up.

Does anyone have any answers to the following:
Does it last long?
Were you happy with the results?
Do you think it's safe? (I do feel a bit nervy about the idea of chemicals near my eyes)
Any recommendations for a salon to have it done in central / north London?

Had it done today. Meh. Can see a difference but not enough to bother again.

Also it bloody stinks. I keep getting a whiff of mothballs 😡

My DD had this done (I searched it out online and found out that Nouveau Lashes are cruelty free )

DD has amazing eyelashes anyway but she curls them and uses TooFaced "Better than Sex" or Tarte mascara,

So she hasn't had to use anything since, her lashes are lush
Envy. You need to avoid any water or oils for 48 hours .

Pricewise £35ish.
They'll last 6-8 weeks according to how her lashes stay in.

For me, no, I wouldn't , mine are beyond redemption

I'm having mine done next week ready for a holiday.

I've got fair eyelashes and always thought they were quite short, but when I had my first LVL I realised they're not short, just very very blonde at the ends. I had blue-black last time and it made a big difference on my eyes. I used mascara on nights out just to thicken them but in the day went au natural, which I don't do normally because I think my eyes look like piggy eyes.

It costs me around £45, colour lasts for a month and the curl for about 5-6 weeks.

I can't afford to keep them done all the time, much as I'd like to, so I have them done for holidays so I don't have to cart mascara around or worry about mascara running when I'm a sweaty mess.

Defo worth it in my opinion

I've had it a few times, it was amazing and dramatic look. Recommended!
