Perfect tote

Please help me find the perfect work tote.

I've spent hours searching and nothing is quite right.

It needs to be black leather, big/strong enough for a lap top, handles that fit over shoulder, relatively lightweight.

How can this be so hard?!

Have a look at Fossil. I have got a "Sydney" tote (seems to have been replaced by the "Rachel").

Has a small slip pocket on the outside, ideal for travel card. The top Zips up properly, has slip pockets inside for phone etc, plus very large zipped pocket.

Fits over my not small shoulder and has previously carried 14" laptop with accessories.

I had the same problem, I have narrowed it down to three.

I bough the celine one a few months ago and am quite happy with it, but might buy a Tod's as well in a different color. The sturdiest of the three is Bally, but I didn't fancy the strip too much. It's a really really well made bag though

I'm not keen on the pliage - I've had own before but don't like the wide base that sort of collapses out if you put anything heavy in it.

I love the celine but had a luggage tote which I ruined by using it for a laptop- I can't afford to wreck another £1500+ bag within a year, beautiful as it is.

I have a Madewell Transport tote it's about three years old and I use it a lot, it still looks good.

I use a Michael Kors large jet set tote for work. They're really sturdy, fit a MacBook Air in a case plus all my other junk - often files, make-up bag, comfy shoes. Lots of pockets inside so I always know where everything is. Exterior is plain.

Also, because it wasn't uber expensive I wasn't too bothered about it getting scuffed. However, it's in it's 3rd year and looks brand new.

I was thinking of getting a Mulberry Bayswater or an Anya Hindmarch Ebury but I haven't got around to it (and missed the Mulberry sale).
