Can someone point me in the direction of a shop where I can get some good basic tshirts and vests? I have some from &other stories but they shrunk. I can only seem to find white/black/grey which is a bit dull...

H&M cotton or linen t shirts.I used to buy J Crew scoop necks but these are pretty good. Love the scoop neck ones in cotton, also the Henley T’s. The linen long sleeved t shirts are lovely and slouchy and wash well. Do size up for the close fitting t shirts. The loose fitting ones are fine at my normal size.

Following. I need to update the wardrobe basics and want better quality than I would have bought before.

Once upon a time Three Dots tees were good thick cotton tops that washed well

Uniqlo

For cheaper options try Dorothy Perkins & new look

Another vote for Uniqlo

Reiss (in the sale) do nice basics, I've just discovered.

Hi love Kettlewell colours. I have numerous scoop neck long sleeves tees and long vests in a variety of colours (they're the only things I buy from them though). Then I just mix and match; it's my go to outfit in a decision fatigue kind of way.

Thanks everyone -going to check them out now

Nagaland for their bests; various colours and 2 lengths

Asda for cheap long sleeved tops for layering - £4.50 or 2x£6 atm
