Hi, I am very lucky to have been blessed with good skin and have never used a moisturiser before apart from sun screen (factor 50) and the odd dab of Olay after a rough night. However, now I have reached 45 my skin is saying that I really need to start looking after it. And yes, I am aware that this is very late in the day.
I'm now scared that if I suddenly start putting something on my face it will break out in spots and all sorts. Can you lovely ladies recommend a moisturiser that is light and non greasy that does not cost a fortune? The area of my face that is starting to show is the forehead (faint lines) and jaw line (dry skin). Many thanks in advance as I really do not know where to begin and left to my own devices will prob just end up buying more Olay!

I like the Nivea oil-free light day moisturiser, or a Simple one - the oily ones make me feel greasy.

I really like The Ordinary HA moisturiser

I like Clinique smart repair serum followed by Clinique Superdefense spf 20 moisturiser for oily to oily combination skin. But not cheap.
The moisturiser is approx £40.

Or try Boots No7.

Thanks so far ladies. I hear a lot about Boots products, but am worried that the age perfect (??) serums will be too strong? The Clinique sounds good but am reluctant to spend that kind of cash unless I know it would suit my skin.
