Prom dress outlets - West Midlands

My daughter - 16 has her school prom in June. She is desperate to look at dresses in the next few weeks. This prom thing is all new to me - I think we had a leavers disco and that was that !! Can anyone recommend where to try? I don't mind spending up to £150ish although it stills seems a lot. I know some people spend hundreds so wonder if I'm being really tight. I am in Birmingham but happy to travel.

Well what size and shape is she?

What type of dress does she want? Long short satin lace?

Last years nearly all had a type of train and were very much floaty!

Where have her friends gone?

No idea what she wants - we just need to go somewhere with lots and then we'll have a better idea. None of her friends have started looking yet.

There are a few shops about but I'm not sure how expensive they are. There's Brides of Solihull in, surprisingly, Solihull and Lula Prom in Erdington that I can think of. TK Maxx is usually on in with this sort of stuff though so that's probably where I'd look nearer the time.
