How do I keep my ghd waves? Which product?

Sorry to be completely clueless.
Just had my hair cut to a long bob and have finally mastered the ghd wave thing. Did this morning on freshly washed and 90% dry hair. Sprayed some salt spray on ends styled and it looked lovely!
3 hours later only back of my hair still wavey everything else straight as anything.
What product do I need to buy to ensure it stays?
Or am I doing the initial styling bit all wrong?
Please help!

I'm interested in the answer too as I find ghd waves rarely last, only tonged curls stay in.

I'm no expert but your hair should be100% dry when styling, this will be the reason why it dropped out. You can still use salt spray when it's dry

I have been watching lots of you tube tutorials and they all say 90% ish dry hair. I thought there may be some spray that holds after doing?
Gosh I'm clueless.
Obviously I've heard of hairspray but wondered if there was anything else?

I have long heavy hair so the do drop out but find the elnett mouse great. Only thing that is I need to avoid putting it near my roots or it gets very itchy

Put in hair while wet? Before drying/styling?

Yes, put it in towel dried hair, then dry and then curl

Hair spray ! I use a non perfumed boots one because it gives me a headache and stinks !!

Rumbly which model are you using?

Hair spray.

Dry shampoo. Keeps my curls for days.

I'm using the regular gold and black ghds. Sorry don't know particular model!
Dry shampoo? Sprayed on before or after or both?
