Do you think your body shape changes every few years

Just that really. I've just turned 40 and I don't think I'm particularly heavier than I've been in the last 10 years but I feel that my body shape has changed a few times in that decade. Clothes that looked good two years ago, for example now don't look so good and I have to dress for a slightly different shape.

Interested to hear what others think it is this all in my mind? Confused

In my 40's, because I'm aware of how things change a lot when you get to your 50's, I've cut back drastically on carbs and increased good fats. I've replaced long runs, with shorter more speed intensive interval running, and added yoga. I've lost a bit of weight, but much to my surprise, a lot of other health problems I was developing have gone. have Psoriasis on my joints being one. I no longer have aching knees, or stiff joints in my fingers. Apparently I was gluten intolerant but didn't realise until I cut out wheat. I'm now a 6, which is around the same size I was in the 90's. I don't know if I can keep this up into my 50's, I may start intermittent fasting. Not just to stop myself from getting heavier, but because of associated health benefits.

I also weight train, but have been moving onto heavier weights.
