Is the Mac Strobe cream a moisturiser ?

I don't think so. I believe it's meant to be a primer. I've used it for years to mix in with my Chanel foundation to make it a bit lighter / glimmery. The stobe lotion that used to come in a pump bottle was much better imo.

It's an illuminating lotion. You can mix it with other bases (eg Foundation, tinted moisturiser) or use it as a liquid highlighter. I personally think it's far too glowy to use all over on its own as a moisturiser.

No, use it as a primer or highlighter.
I use Lumi Magique (L'oreal) which is much the same but only £11 or something.

It hardly shines on me. Sad

I'd love to glow - dry ageing skin here.

I use little dabs where I need a bit more light reflecting. Usually the I inner corners of my eyes. Makes me look a bit fresher and more awake. My toddler recently stuck my blusher brush in the strobe cream so so it ended up mixed with my blusher which gave me a bit of a sheen. Wasn't convinced I liked the effect.
