False lashes

I've neglected my looks for ages and have been feeling pretty crap just lately so decided to invest in some new make up to pick myself up a bit. I bought some individual lashes which come with glue and a remover solution. They look more like clumps of about 3/4 lashes arranged in rows in the box. There's a set of instructions in the box but I'm a bit nervous about applying them to be honest incase I get it wrong and end up in a mess. How easy are they to apply? I remember talking to someone a few years ago and they told me they added one or two individual lashes and it had quite a good effect. Can I use these with mascara? My lashes used to be really long and thick, sadly not anymore

Watching with interest. I have a box of individual eyelashes but I lost any hope I had that I would ever get it right and went back to my faithful shu uemura strip lashes. Good luck OP 😉

There is a bit of a knack to it and you get better with practice. Your eyelashes need to be as clean as possible with no oily residue and they need to be stuck to your other lashes rather than your eyelid.

I find that the less you wear mascara and wash them the longer they last. They tend to look a bit ropey after a few days otherwise!

I went through a phase of using these all the time but prefer a strip lash now. I like Red Cherry human hair ones. They are so comfortable and last ages. I have two pairs and they have lasted years.

Have you thought of getting your lashes permed? I used to wear falsies but now get them tinted and permed and they look really good. No faffing with glue either. Lasts about 4-6 weeks
