Advice please oh wise Style and Beauty Mumsnetters.
Should I buy The Ordinary Buffet or Matrixyl ?

Do you need to use moisturiser with them ?
I have ageing sensitive skin.

I use Buffet and use moisturiser and then spf on top.

There is a FB group, but it's hardcore.

Thank you.
I've never had spots or acne.
My skin is dryish

I use Buffet and find it a bit drying in patches in my dry-prone skin, so you might need a thicker moisturiser

BuzzKillington · 27/01/2018 19:37

I went to The Ordinary shop in Covent Garden yesterday. I was inappropriately excited.

AdidasGirl · 27/01/2018 19:51

Buffet is brilliant.
I have almost every product they do.
I get mine from Asos as free next day delivery.

Wtfdoicare · 27/01/2018 19:52

I've used both but apart from moisturising didn't find either wowing.

PajamasnoDramas · 28/01/2018 11:09

I'm coming to the end of the matrixyl I ordered in November and I'm a bit underwhelmed by it. It was no miracle product for me despite regular use.

HisBetterHalf · 09/02/2018 21:35

Just started using Matryxil and really like it so far. Skin looks fresher and plumper and even OH has noticed and commented. Great product for the price. I use it with the Clarins Double Serum

Ofthread · 09/02/2018 23:33

I’m not getting on with matrixyl,

Ofthread · 09/02/2018 23:34

Oops...
I actually prefer the hyaluronic acid, it’s also a bit more moisturising. OP, both buffet and matrixyl are serums, you don’t need both really. I don’t need a moisturiser but I’m pretty oily.
