Anyone been watching 'A Stitch in Time' on BBC4/iplayer? It recreates clothes from historic works of art. It's completely fascinating and I thought there might be a few people here who would be interested.

Yep I didn't catch it from the start but from king charles. I love it! Its tiding ne over in case Sewing Bee never comes back!

Charles II was the first episode, I think.

I've been really enjoying it too. I loved the low slung trousers in the Charles II episode.

I love this programme. I thought the Charles II programme was fsacinating, finding out that our image of him from the portraits is actually not what he wore most of the time at all.

Also, I wish I looked like Amber Butchart and could turn up to work dressed like her Sad
