Gingery roots.

I paid a substantial amount for a full head tint yesterday. I quite like it but the roots are more orange than I would like. Everyone says it looks nice but I just feel not quite right but probably not enough to go back and make a fuss about it. Any ideas to tone or cool it down a bit please?

I would go back but if you don't want to you could use a purple shampoo (I get the loreal one from Amazon) which will take the brassiness out.

I think fanola do a no orange blue one on Amazon too.

Oh god I should go back shouldn't I? It's just I found it really hard to find the time to even have that appointment - single parent, two kids with autism. I don't know if I can face it.

I've been looking at that shampoo, it works then? Should I put it on the roots first or just do the whole thing? Thanks 😊

Go back - its called root glow - they should fix for free -

I've called them, I'm going back on Wednesday. So irritating though.

Very and shouldn't happen with a proffesional colour to be honest

LucilleBluth · 27/01/2018 20:25

The absolute exact same thing happened to me on Thursday. I'm going back, I could tell as she was applying it that it wasn't right.

MsGameandWatching · 27/01/2018 21:38

It's actually really stressful isn't it? I struggle to find time to get there in the first place and now I have to go back. It was really expensive too - Toni and Guy. I hadn't had it done in a year so thought I would go somewhere decent. It looked wrong at the time but I thought maybe it will lighten up. They must see it but just want to get you out!

I hope you get yours sorted. Make sure you update Smile

i had this after paying £90 for a colour and cut in a local independent salon. i was devastated!! basically the first person put too light a shade of brown on my hair and this made some of grey areas very orange!

MsGameandWatching · 28/01/2018 13:22

This morning it honestly looks even worse. I can't stand to look at it tbh. So I phoned the hairdressers who had fobbed me off till Wednesday and told them I need to come in tomorrow and they've got to do something. So I have an appointment tomorrow morning first thing thankfully.

I'm trying to get a good pic of the shade of mine.

That doesn't do it justice. Mine is bloody awful. I think my hairdresser knew that she'd made a mistake, she came running over after five minutes when she had told me it would on for 20. I'm going back on Thursday.
