Jeans help for short legs and big bum!

I love my urban outfitters jeans.. now too tight . The bastards don't make them any more.

Where can I find..
Stay black skinnies
Very short. 28 leg or less
Larger bum and smaller waist so often have gaping problem. Not keen on a stretchy waist band, but needs must.
4 way stretch soft material
High or pref mid rise

Usually size 10. Currently trying to get back to a size 10. New jeans being the reward. At the moment more weight on bum means fit problems even worse.

Considering getting some made but there might be the perfect pair on the high street somewhere.

Have you tried Gap Curvy? Not sure whether there is a petite length. I usually need 29/30 inch leg and have the R which is ankle length ish - I didn't think they were ankle grazers but they may just come up short. Suits me. Curvy fit deals well with the waist/ hip ratio. Mine have stayed black through 6 months or so washing and wearing regularly. They may not be stretchy enough for you though. If not, try French Connection which are lovely and soft and true to size.

How about Matalan? I bought jeans there this week and they go down to 29" leg. Got some in their sale for £10 a pair.

Topshop Jamie, petite range is a 28" leg. I find they stay skinny for a long time, although my black pair have started to fade (after several years!). They're high tise and very comfy.

I've got petite trousers from: Boden, Gap, ASOS, and M&S. Mint Velvet, Biba, and Anthropologie do petite as well but I've not tried them.

Yes to Gap petite jeans. I have the girlfriend fit and they’re good.
Yes to Topshop Jamie. Actually all Topshop petite jeans fit me well. I have their boyfriend style ones and the hideously named, Mom jeans.
Finally have a look at M&S online. I have the petite slim fit turn up jeans and the black jeggings (which have stayed black)

Blue eyes, thanks. I am a bit scared of top shop as my age is not quite their market. However, I got a lovely biker jacket there so will put my prejudice aside and try. Sounds like we have same build.

Uniqlo? They alter jeans for you in an hour.

My gap order arrived. Most successful and pain free jeans shop in my life. The size 12 petite are a good fit and the 10 curvey petite actually a tiny bit BIG. Ordering an 8 was good for my self esteem as I'm shedding pounds. Even if I hold into them a while, they are all selling
out.

Fantastic! Glad it worked for you. I think Gap may be staging a sneak comeback - I like their t shirts too after years of finding them too thin and flimsy.

Levu demi curve are also good for your body shape (I have the same shape as you)
