Hello,
I am getting getting married in 2 weeks. Will be 6 months pregnant. This is the dress I have chosen. Would any if you lovely people be able to help me style the dress - e.g. shoes and a bolero/shrug/jacket/cardy? I was size 12 pre pregnancy but not feeling massively body confident now.
Many thanks Smile

What is your hair like and what style are you thinking of? Up do? Down?

Crazycat1980 · 26/01/2018 23:07

My hair is blonde ginger. It will be up but with loose curls.

Nothing useful to add, but that is a beautiful dress.

That’s a lovely dress. Is your hair long enough for a loose side bun?
Are you having a bouquet?
A pair of lovely shoes - cream or gold depending on the mood of your wedding, and you’re good to go.

It´s a beautiful dress. I would go for a pale contrasting colour, cream or silver probably.

I got married in Marchand I found I didn´t want my cover up on in the church (although I had two) but outside they weren´t enough so I would be tempted to go for a dress length coat. I also find that a bolero or short jacket can break up the line of a pretty dress and make it look frumpy. You probably wouldn´t need to close the coat much so may get away with a non-maternity version you could use again.

I will try and find something later as I really like the dress but don´t have time now.

As it's winter, how about a faux fur wrap in grey or white? I'd go with pink suede kitten heels with that dress.

Hair on the side definitely would look lovely.
I agree bolero type jackets can look frumpy.
Fake fur wrap would be lovely.
A beautiful classic pendant style necklace would be lovely and something matching/similar in your hair on the side would be gorgeous.
I hope you have a lovely day Smile

I would also go for a plain leather or suede closed court shoe in a shade matching or toning with the coat. LK Bennet seem to have a good selection and Carvela or even clarks cometimes can be good for that sort of thing too.
