Omg I am in so much pain
And the top of my cheekbones are like 2 small hard little balls

It didn't look like this earlier
I don't remember it hurting so much last time
Well respected practitioner who I've seen for years

Anyone else get this?

OP posts:
lovemylover · 26/01/2018 23:45

Was it cheek fillers you had, no experience of them, but was thinking about it, but also worried i would have this happen and not look right, but it might just be the immediate effect,it might wear off
Have you had this done before?

lovemylover · 26/01/2018 23:48

If the same in the morning i would ring and go back
I hope you feel better tomorrow
Is this person used to doing this, have you seen any previos pics etc?

lovemylover · 26/01/2018 23:50

Sorry just re read you had it done before

youngnomore · 26/01/2018 23:52

Cheeks are painful I’ve heard as they’re injected much deeper. I would call them tomorrow and get more advice.

MozzchopsThirty · 27/01/2018 11:36

Yes I've had them before, same amount, same product, same practitioner

The swollen ball seems to just be on the left this morning, the right has settled.
I had to sleep upright and on my back so I barely slept with that and the pain

Thank god it's only every 18m, Botox is a breeze compared to fillers

I've left a message on her answerphone, she doesn't work weekends though

OP posts:
lovemylover · 28/01/2018 15:48

Hi, how are you today,i hope the swelling has gone down, and not as painful,
I have had problems with botox, if you look on the thread botox for 11s

MozzchopsThirty · 28/01/2018 17:03

Oh dear poor you Sad my Botox is always ok, I love the feeling

I still have swelling on one side although it's less noticible today
I'll try and get it sorted this week

I hope you get yours sorted

OP posts:
lovemylover · 28/01/2018 17:55

Hopefully we will both get it sorted soon, but i can hide my eyes up to a point with glasses, more difficult for you,
Do you have to go to work? maybe they will settlr down a bit more by tomorrow

MozzchopsThirty · 28/01/2018 19:38

Yes I'm in work tomorrow but it's not that bad, my friend didn't notice yesterday until I told her

What happened with your Botox?

OP posts:
lovemylover · 28/01/2018 20:09

If your friend didnt notice thats a good sign then that they dont look as bad as you think, its just that you know,if you see what i mean,
My Botox, well about 3 weeks ago i had botox on crows feet, and 11 lines,
The nurse doing it suddenly went into a anic and said oh god you have come up in a lump, she quickly got an ice pack and put it on my nose
It was very painful i have to say, and i cried out oh that was very painful,
When i got home i used the ice pack she gave me, but the day after had 2 black eyes and swollen bruised nose, which lasted even until i saw her again last thursday, still a bit bruised round eyes,
When i went back last week i akso pointed out that one eyebrow was higher than the other, [she had done forehead too] so she said i will put a bit more in that side, but now my eye is half closed, well eyelid is drooping, and my 11s or at least that side is showing again as a deep line
If i lift my forehead with my finger the eye looks normal, its as if that side is looser skin , or not taken, the other side is tight
I am going to get in touch with her again tomorrow, but dont know if she will try anything again
I have been wearing glasses to cover my eyes,
My daughter goes to her and she recommended her,
A few weeks ago i also had some light filler in my upper lip lines, and was quite pleased with that, so didnt hesitate for the botox
Sorry this has turned into an essay Blush

lovemylover · 28/01/2018 20:13

Sorry, meant to add, that i believe she injected me too far down on my nose on, a bony bit, not between my brows
It was so painful, had botox before and never jabbed there
I looked at some videos today and the Dr clearly marked the ladys face exactly between her brows

MozzchopsThirty · 28/01/2018 20:52

Oh no that doesn't sound good
I have bunny lines done with Botox and it's the most painful part

OP posts:
MozzchopsThirty · 29/01/2018 18:09

Hey love did you manage to see your practitioner today??

Mine rang me but she's not worried at all and said it's normal and may take up to 6 weeks to settle Shock
She's seeing me tomorrow just for my peace of mind more than anything

OP posts:
lovemylover · 29/01/2018 21:26

Hi ,i rang her and she said she didnt want to keep adding more, and was sorry i was not happy with it, but my worst side still had a deep crease, and i can still frown, only slightly but i can,
I told her that the worst side still has slackness on the forehead where the other side is tight-ish
I told her i might get a second opinion. to which she replied thats fine, but if you want to come and see me i can assess it better than from a photo,[sent her pics]
I do not want to have to pay someone else again, my right eye looks wide awake compared to the left,
She said it shouldnt have drooped as she didnt put much in when i went back for top up,[if needed]
My daughter is away until tomorrow and she will have to take me as i dont drive and not an easy place to get to on a bus
I am seriously wondering if she did use a weaker botox and if she even put anymore in the second time
On the 11s thread i have posted a pic off the internet of a Dr marking a ladys face for the injections, he put a white mark where he would inject, that is not where she injected me,it was lower
RE;your cheeks, did it take so long last time to settle down, 6 weeks sounds a long time, google it and see how long it normally takes, im sure i read only a coup[le of weeks at most, as filler usually works straight away doesnt it?
How are they now any better ?

lovemylover · 29/01/2018 21:27

Not sure what bunny lines are by the way

MozzchopsThirty · 29/01/2018 22:08

Bunny lines are where you wrinkle your nose up and have lines on the side, I have those done.

Fillers work immediately but can take up to 6 weeks to settle, she has placed them in different areas this time so that will make a difference.
No one in work noticed a thing so I think it's just me that can see and feel the lump

I would go back to the same woman to correct it, if you trust her? You shouldn't have to pay someone else

OP posts:
lovemylover · 29/01/2018 22:52

Oh i see [bunny lines] lol i dont think she will do anything, but i cant go anywhere without my glasses on, i dont need to wear them all the time, but i am having to wear them in the house now too,in case someone calls, the difference in my eyes is very noticeable
The 11 lines are still there, and one is no different to before, the other not so bad
All i can do is see what she says,i doubt she will give me my money back
Just said shes sorry im not happy with it

lovemylover · 29/01/2018 22:53

Has your lady said why she has placed them in different areas this time

lovemylover · 31/01/2018 19:40

Spoke to the lady today, well texted her to be hones tried to ring but she wasnt answering, she said sorry i dont give refunds
Also rang consumer protection through CAB ,i was told what to do, and if she refused a refund to give her 14 days by letter to respond and if not take it to county court,
I have photos of course, and i can class it as negligence ,as practioners should know where blood vessels are, and not go in too deep, and it was on the bone
I can see where she put the needle in on the photos, and it wasnt between my brows,it bled a lot
Hope your swelling has gone down a bit more
She should have a complaints procedure but she said she wasnt ansering texts, but willing to review, but she cant undo whats done
Ao reported her to saving face, who these practitioners are registered with, and they do a consultation with an outside person or people

MozzchopsThirty · 31/01/2018 21:31

Omg that's awful she should be trying to rectify the issue and at least admit if she made a mistake!
Did someone recommend her??

My lady was fab, saw her last night, she's not worried at all but said she'd rather reassure me. She did put what looked like a vibrator on my face where the lump was which she said helps to break down the product a little
Today it looks absolutely fine and symmetrical
It's still hard to touch but that will settle over the next 4 weeks

OP posts:
MozzchopsThirty · 31/01/2018 21:33

I'm so sorry you've had a bad experience
Please don't let it put you off having Botox again
I've had it for years, once you find a great practitioner you'll love it Smile

OP posts:
lovemylover · 31/01/2018 21:54

I have had to camcel some appointments and a njght out because of this, and strangely i rang to cancel a dentist appointment and discovered that his wife is a dentist too and a Dr, and she rubs a clinic,if only i had known
I am very pleased for you that you feel happier about your chheks,i would like mine doing as i have kost some facial fat, but scared now to do anything else
Have you any pics of yours ? could you possibly pm me with one,its fine if you would rather not,
IU will send you a pic of my eyes anyway in a pm if i can,you will see how they were and also my half closed eye, even with glasses on its noticeable

lovemylover · 31/01/2018 21:58

Cant send pics with a pm, sorry

MozzchopsThirty · 31/01/2018 22:07

Quite happy to send pics
She takes before and after photos and then shows them to you side by side and it's astounding how much better I look

I'll find one of the Botox ones and you can see how much it lifts my face

Where in the UK are you?
