what to wear with grey suit?

Got an interview next week - corporate role. Got a medium-grey reiss skirt suit.
Last time I interviewed I wore the same suit with a white shirt, black opaques and black heels/bag - it was OK but a bit monotone and for a much lower role so didn't matter too much.

This time I am thinking nude tights, nude shoes - but then do I need a nude bag, and is that too pale altogether? Or go for black opaques/shoes and get a jewel-coloured top, or maybe a patterned shirt? Just want to look a bit different!

What would you all suggest? I have a healthy budget and a few different bags/shoes.

How about a coloured shirt, or a white shirt with coloured stripes? Or a colourful bag? With nude or black tights? I'd stick with black shoes but that's just me.

Tbh all the things you suggested sound fine, try not to stress and just pick a combination you feel comfortable in .

I'd stick with black shoes and a black bag, but go for a top with some personality. A blush blouse or edgy top from Cos, Jigsaw or Zara maybe.

Pink/blush sounds like a good idea - I might go to a few shops tomorrow with the jacket to check the colour match. My normal style is a bit quirky so I like the idea of a good pattern/texture somewhere!

So definitely black shoes/bag. I have seen some nice panelled bags recently, so if I could get one to coordinate with the top...

I really want this job and although I know my clothes won't make that much difference, it's one thing I have complete control over, so want to make the most of it! Also I rarely get to dress nicely

I probably wouldn't go for a shirt with a suit, a knit too or similar would look a lot more chic.

When I need to dress smartly/corporate I go for something like this (both images are from Reiss). In fact I have the grey sleeveless top and it looks great on, wrong colour for you with a grey suit but I'm sure they do it in other colours too.
