the sort of mocha/chocolate/brown-ish ones in the third and fourth picture at the bottom

www.purecollection.com/clearance-sale/clearance-coats/wool_blazer_2_navy.htm

I'm not even sure what colour that is. It's more the colour trousers I'm after rather than the style.

What colour would you call that? Any similar suggestions?

Different pictures are showing for me at the bottom. Can you link directly to the trousers?

PrimalLass · 27/01/2018 12:01

Mocha. I have chinos in that colour. I think they were from Me and Em.

No - I tried but it's not possible to link directly.
They are the mocha (thanks Primal!)/ brown trousers in the third and fourth pictures. The other pictures are just the jacket, a skirt and blue and white trousers.

I'd say 'dark chocolate' 'bitter chocolate' 'mocha', 'esresso' or just good old fashioned 'dark brown'. But whatever name you use, it's a very hard colour to find at the moment and has been ever since grey appeared on the scene. The only retailer I know that consistently do it is Kettlewell If you search that page for colour, you should get a few dark brown / mocha options. I should add that I've not seen any of these in real life.

Thanks Primal but those aren't quite dark enough and look a bit more sludgy than chocolate brown.

Is this an impossible quest?

How about these Hobbs ones? Dark khaki looks like chocolate brown to me

OP, screen colours are not v accurate so you might have to order lots to get the right thing.

Lolichi · 29/01/2018 16:53

Are they not the these? Slate grey according to the website...

Don't forget you can always buy some that are the right shape and then dye them... machine dye is super easy to use. I did it recently with a pair of Toast trousers, they'd sold out in the colour I wanted so I just bought beige ones and dyed them darker, they came out perfectly! Of course it only works with natural fabrics.

ThereWasABaboon · 30/01/2018 18:11

Lolichi you are a genius.
I couldn't find them as I was looking for brown/mocha!!!
Sadly the don't have them in my size and are basically sold out.

Ironically they do have them in walnut and stone but I don't like the colour.
That's so funny that I thought (And others too) that they were brown!!
