Am I a weird size based on these measurements?

Ubderbust - 33 inches

Waist - 35 inches

Hips - 49 inches

These were taken today by a DR. Not by me.

I would describe myself as a pair shape. I have very small shoulders and top half and large bum and hips.

I wear size 12 or 14 tips depending on the shop and wear size 16 trousers or skirts. Anything with a bit of stretch and I can squeeze into a 14 bottom.

However, I'm confused as surly my under bust measurement should be larger than my waist?

I'm also confused as 49inch hips would put me at size 20 or 22 depending on the size guide I look at. The under bust measurement of 33 inches seems to tie in with the size 12/14 tops I wear.

Is this a strange measurement?

Depends on what you mean by strange, we are all different, but there is a lot of emphasis on the ideal.
I'm apple shaped, so no waist, which is hard to dress, but i wouldn't say strange.
Can you find clothes that suit you?

Yes that's the weird thing.

I can go into any shop, but a size 16 bottom or skirt and it be plenty roomy.

I am a pear but not a massively out of the ordinary shape if you looked at me walking down the street.

It's the measurement that's throwing me as I should be a size 20/22 on the bottom which is 3 sizes larger than I wear

It sounds like a classic 'pear' figure, so not strange. Have you tried measuring your hips yourself if there really seems to be a discrepancy in apparent dress size - it's possible the doctor made a mistake? Or measure the hip size of a garment that fits you? If it's a garment that's designed to be loose or stretchy, there might be a lot of variance in the hip measurement it would accommodate.

I think the Dr has written down the wrong measurement. I'm a 12-14 with 39" hips.
