Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can find stylish shoes for my enormous and wide feet?! I used to be a size 8 but arthritis has deformed my toe joints and I'm between an 8 and 9 now. I've always had wide feet but am finding that the arthritic swelling on my feet means that even shoes advertised as 'true EEE fit' generally don't fit me. I've tried shoes from simply be and evans in the past but the ones that fit generally are not my taste at all.

I'm looking for flat shoes that don't look old lady ish. Brands /styles I like include Art, Red or Dead, Fly etc but even their widest looking shoes just don't fit anymore. I've just tried on a pair of lovely looking red or dead shoes which looked super wide round the toes. Am feeling thoroughly deflated that they don't fit. I just want some nice shoes!!

If anyone can recommend any brands or places I can try I'd be eternally grateful.

Hopeful bump in case anyone out there also has freakishly big feet...

THey are expensive but I think this is a situation where you would be wise to invest for comfort and foot health and have your shoes custom made.

My most comfortable boots are my pull on boots by Conker shoes and I rate Brodequin shoes too-they are handmade and repairable. They use a really good quality leather that is much better than anything on the high street so it wears well and lasts.

I like Fly London too. Some of their newer styles are coming up wider so maybe worth a go. Other suggestions might be to try the men’s Dr Martens as they are wider. Pozu are worth a try too.

Those Conkers look lovely! But they're expensive...how long do they last? They children's shoes look lovely too.

Pozu bronze ones.....

Forgot to mention Oxygen boots tend to run wider than Fly London and have a similar vibe.

People have them 20 + years Ricotta and just send them in to be resoled because the uppers go on forever. They are without doubt the most comfortable boots I have ever had and I know boots 😁

I love that you can pick the exact colour you want too. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Thanks frankie those boots look fab, just the sort of thing I was looking for.

I didn't realise you could get shoes custom made, but have just googled conkers and fallen in love with several pairs. Just need to get saving now! Thanks for the recommendations

I have Hobbit feet, but have found joy with FitFlop. Not all styles (some of the strappy sandals are too tight), but the trainers, boots and flip flops suit me well.

Formerly I'd only really ever buy shoes from Clarks or M&S Footglove.
