Veja trainers

Someone linked to these over the weekend and I really like them.
If someone has some can you tell me about them - what's the sizing like? Quality? I like a trainery trainer as opposed to a stan smith type and am eyeing up the Holiday veja style...

I have a pair of the Esplar leather trainers in white: I love them.

The quality is great and I've just worn them a lot on a city break where I was walking around 30,000 steps a day and they were extremely comfortable.

I'd say the sizing comes up a little large: I'm usually a standard 6 and the 39 are a little roomy on me. But I've just laced them up fairly tightly and they haven't rubbed or slipped.

I'd highly recommend them.

Just realised that the Esplar are more like a Stan Smith style so my recommendation might not be that helpful! I'm eyeing up a pair of the Holiday style too...

I agree that the sizing is a little on the large side, and maybe a bit wide too. I'm usually between a 7 and 8 and often have to take an 8 if there are no half sizes. The Veja 8 was too large for me (and the 7 too small). I also found them a bit heavy and stiff.

Sorry all been at work so just checking back in now - glad to hear positive reviews - there's so many lovely colour ways it may take me some time to choose ...

Flisspaps not sure what vaj trainers would be like - but shiny pink maybe??
