What's your favourite lip balm?

I am addicted to lip balm and have loads of them ferreted away in bags, drawers etc. Despite having so many, I'm still on the hunt for the perfect moisturising yet tinted balm. My favourites at the moment are the Nivea one with moisturising core and the Burts Bees range.

Do you like lip balm? Which ones are your favourites?

I like EOS, Barry M tinted ones, lush and body shop.
All cruelty free.

bigfatfeet · 21/01/2018 20:33

My favourite is the Carmex Moisture Plus berry one, if you don't mind the medicated scent.

Greenglassteacup · 21/01/2018 20:37

Rose and Co rose petal salve

Greenglassteacup · 21/01/2018 20:43

And if you like tinted, the rose and co cherry balm is lovely too

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/01/2018 20:44

Burt's Bees tinted, or Korres tinted here. The BB ones are really lovely.

Albus & Flora - (nude flora)
Nuxe - nourishing lip balm
Burt's Bees - pomegranate

ButFirstTea · 21/01/2018 20:49

Carmex, Glossier balm dot com, or Dr Lipps are my go to ones!

ChristmasTablecloth · 21/01/2018 20:51

Original Carmex in the little pot. Can't be beaten.

Clinique Superbalm (green tube) will sort out any lip problems you can throw at it. It is magic, my DH uses it now too when his lips are dry/painful in winter

DancingDogs81 · 21/01/2018 21:05

Chapstick original (the black one). Been using it for well over 20 years but it's hard to find now - I have to get it from Amazon!

ranoutofquinoa · 21/01/2018 21:08

Clarins instant light lip oil. Sorts my chapped lips out no end.

GenericDietCola · 21/01/2018 21:22

Ooh, some new ones to try!

A friend has got me hooked on Blistex Intensive Moisturiser, the little white tube with the blue writing. It's absolutely the best lip balm product I have ever used (and I've tried a lot).

When you first apply it tingles a little bit, but then it somehow magically softens your lips, whilst smoothing them and making them feel slightly plumper. Leaves a nice subtle sheen on your lips too.

Honestly, it's fantastic. I buy it in bulk because I'm terrified they'll stop making it.

HermioneWeasley · 21/01/2018 21:37

8 hour cream (but I could live without the weird smell/taste)

BluthsFrozenBananas · 21/01/2018 21:39

Chapstick. I stock up on them every time I go to the US. I like to buy different flavours, my current favourite is cake batter. I also have them everywhere, I actually panic a bit if I leave home without one as I can’t bear having dry lips.

CantSleepClownsWillEatMe · 21/01/2018 21:42

I try various ones but I keep going back to Carmex. It's as good as balms four times the price and I love the little tingle when you apply. I tend to have multiple pots on the go - handbag, desk at work, bedside table plus one with my cleanser so I remember to use it when I've taken my face off Smile.

JDSTER · 21/01/2018 21:47

Lanolips in ‘rhubarb’ has a nice pinky tint.

DownstairsMixUp · 21/01/2018 21:49

Burt bees pomegranate and I like the Vaseline with the pink tint

Pootle40 · 21/01/2018 22:03

I still love Boots Mint one-been using it for years!

RainyApril · 22/01/2018 08:21

Dior Addict Lip Glow balm. Pricey but fabulous and lasts ages. It's the only lip balm I've ever worn and received regular compliments!

ChishandFips33 · 22/01/2018 09:43

Elizabeth Arden 8hr stick. Not as strong smelling as the 8hr cream
