What colour is my hair?

Hi all

I'm planning on getting hair extensions. I have autism and find describing colour difficult so not sure if I should be looking more at browns or reds? What colour would you say my hair is?

It's a red but I'd call it a light to medium auburn rather than true red head.

Auburn for me too, I think if you're getting hair extensions you need to match the hair, so should have the hair dresser match first.

Thank you all for the advice. My hair is naturally a very dark blonde/mousy brown but I have hennae'd it with lush's caca marron for so many years I doubt it will ever return to its original colour now

The caca marron is a mix of red and brown and I can never distinguish which one it's more of although it seems a unanimous verdict of being on the red side!

Ooh I use that one! Trying to grow it out with many white hairs at the mo to see what my actual colour is and if I can cope with going grey gracefully!
