Miss Dior - Chanel Mademoiselle

Wondered if anyone can help - I used to have a miss Dior perfume that smelt very similar to (but nicer on me imo) Mademoiselle. I went to John Lewis to buy a new one and sprayed what is now Miss Dior Eau de Parfum. It smells nothing like it now! Can anyone help x

I suspect you want the original Miss Dior, in the dog-tooth checked box. The new Miss Dior is really pink and sweet, and aimed at young women, whereas the original version is much dryer and absolutely lovely.

What Judy said. I think they still sell something close to the "proper" one but now branded as Miss Dior Originale.

I got a vintage bottle from eBay at good price though and there were a fair few going when I was looking. I also think the Perfume Parlour dupe (Miss Deeor I think!) is quite nice and very cheap - especially if you just get a tiny bottle to try.

No, def not the originale (dogtooth) one, the newer Miss Dior Eau de parfum is definitely altered. Then I’ve seen they make Le Parfum too which is different again. One is a dead ringer for Mademoiselle but suits me better, and it’s sentimental but I’d love to find it .

Miss Dior Cherie?

Meripenopause1 · 20/01/2018 21:33

Galimard perfume house in Grasse makes really good dupes. Songeries is their version of Miss Dior (Cherie). They post to the UK. It's 11euros postage, but the perfumes are very good value.

Does this mean they don’t make the original Miss Dior anymore?! That’s my mums perfume. That’s her smell.

Must bulk buy.

I know, the Eau de Parfum I sprayed today wasn’t the sweet, rich, Mademoiselle top notes at all.
Will find out and let you know!
