Facial sunscreen for ridiculously sensitive skin

Hi lovelies,

I’ve just spent two hours searching t’interweb for a facial sunscreen with high protection that won’t make my skin explode in a painful rash. I have super sensitive skin and make my own facial oils as the moisturisers that worked for me in the past became a bit expensive to keep buying (I’m a wee tad frugal). It seems to be anything heavy in chemicals that sets my skin off and sls is a huge no no for me.

Now I’m just so confused. There’s so much out there and I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies have any recommendations. Ideally I’m looking for a decent level of protection simply from a vanity point of view (I’m blaming Cherry Healey after watching her programme the other night) as I’m now panicking that I’m going to end up looking like a wrinkled old sock if I don’t take urgent action!

Thanks in advance, any advice is much appreciated GrinFlowers

I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and use a physical sunscreen - Neostrata Sheer Physical Protection. It dries matte and doesn’t bother my skin. The price varies a lot so shop around online.

Try La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF30 or 50.
But with anything, always do a patch test first.
