Help me find a bra

After finding bra intervention and boob or bust I find I should be wearing a 30F Shock rather than my current 34D. So, now to go shopping... only the nearest bravissimo is about 200 miles away and my only local-ish options are Debenhams and m&s, neither of which stock anything like a 30E. So I guess I'll have to order hundreds a few online and hope for the best. Any recommendations for a non wired (cant do wires due to wonky ribs, thank you breech baby) tshirt style, lightly padded bra that won't break the bank?

200 miles away from Bravissimo Shock
I think that would be in the criteria for me if I ever relocated!! Grin

Is there a Boux Avenue near you? Apparently they’re good for smaller band sizes (starting at 28).

Debenhams do have a decent range online (although not sure about 30 back??) but you could always order a load of them to collect in store for fitting advice and instant returns.

Failing that, join the Boob or Bust Facebook group as they can advise on styles that will suit you and will even give fitting advice if you send photos. So helpful if you can only order online.

Oooh, ooh, I know! I just went looking for non wired padded bras and found Royce to be quite good. They definitely have some in 30E but annoying navigation as no way to filter by size.

PS The Panache Sophie comes in your size. I have the nursing version and it’s not bad for a non-wired. Quite pretty unlike most of the other fugly nursing bras I tried!

Also there is a non-wired version of the Freya Deco which is sold at Debenhams and elsewhere (you can find it cheaper from online only shops)

Thanks! Will check out boob or bust on Facebook and have a nosy at the Royce ones. Should have added I don't do lace, but that one looks very pretty, emma

This bra from Debenhams is only £20

NameChange30 · 19/01/2018 21:09

I don’t do lace either but when you get to my bra size you get grateful for any remotely pretty bra you can find Grin
It’s easier now I’m back in underwires.

ThreeTwins · 19/01/2018 21:19

Ha! The £20 bra from Debenhams is exactly what I currently have in 34D! The nearest size it comes in is 32E which might be worth a try, although it has annoying seams in the band where the back joins the cup, which dig in and cause marks.

The great deco looks good.

I'd agree about Boux Avenue, but I buy online and not in a shop. They deliver quickly and have offers regularly.

NameChange30 · 19/01/2018 23:21

The website is showing that the £20 bra comes in a 30E.

I would have bet money on you being in a 34D atm! Where did you last get fitted, M&S?? They usually end up about 2 band sizes too big and 2 cup sizes too small (exactly your case).

IlonaRN · 20/01/2018 11:22

Debenhams definitely do 30F - that is my size, and I get most of my bras from there!

NameChange30 · 20/01/2018 15:02

Oh I got confused, I thought you were a 30E but have reread and it looks like you’re a 30F (maybe the 30E was a typo?) Anyway yeah that £20 Debenhams bra only goes up to an E sorry.

Try the Freya Deco (although I preferred the Panache Sophie personally).

MeadowHay · 20/01/2018 16:37

Debenhams do stock 30E, I just bought a few from there the other day after a fitting. Also can order from them online, other options online are Figleaves, John Lewis, and Boux Avenue.

NameChange30 · 20/01/2018 20:05

Is there a John Lewis near you, OP? They have a few non-wired bras in a 30F (including a t-shirt bra for £18):
