Wedding bands - quirky rustic-looking ones?

ATownCalledGallus · 19/01/2018 14:41

Looking for a gorgeous silver-coloured band (so white gold, platinum or titanium, I guess??) that's a little bit uneven/rough/handmade-looking. But still high quality. A bit like the kind you'd see on Etsy.

Anyone got any good websites they can recommend?

Try Folksy.com or Notonthehighstreet.com

Lots of individual, UK based, jewellers and silversmiths there who may have what you're looking for (or who could make them for you).

Also - check out Sheila Fleet

sheilafleet.com/rings

Thanks, I'll look at the first two. I'm afraid I don't like Sheila Fleet though - they look too 'perfect' IYSWIM! Ta though ☺

Another Orkney designer: Alison Moore, some of her wedding bands are more rough looking (in a good way), the hammered and storybook ones look like they might be good.

I like these too ecowoodrings.co.uk/collection

Could you make it yourself? My husband and I went to a half day workshop at the jewellery quarter in Birmingham and had a great day making ours. Mine is white gold and hammered so very simple but is uneven and has the advantage of being totally unique.

I was going to suggest Silver and Stone too, but I see someone already beat me to it. Gorgeous rustic chic. Diana Porter also makes beautiful rings and bespoke wedding bands.

We had ours made by FireWhite on etsy and I'd happily recommend her. I see she has our own website too now - www.firewhitejewellery.com

Haven't been on the website for a while but Hairy Growler used to do some great stuff with coins. All handmade and is up for bespoke stuff if requested well in advance

ChishandFips33 · 20/01/2018 04:17

...coins and cutlery!

yikesanotherbooboo · 20/01/2018 07:21

Catherine Hills Jewellery might fit the bill and are worth a look

MrsDilber · 20/01/2018 10:09

Stay away from Not Your Usual Gift, they genuinely ripped me off big time.

SloanePeterson · 20/01/2018 10:10

Another recommendation for Rust, their jewellery is just beautiful

Tryingtogetitright · 20/01/2018 10:42

My friend makes bespoke jewellery, sure she could make you something beautiful www.oaklandjewellery.com/
