I'm a size 10-12 and struggle to find a really good fitting pair of skinny jeans!

Topshop makes me feel like an absolute monster.... I don't have a high budget so high street suggestions?

well funnily enough i wore a primark pair yesterday ( never worn that brand before ) ! lots of stretch and didn't go saggy all day. I got the high waisted ones they were very flattering.

they are very strongly dyed though ! wash before wearing . mine turned my legs black yesterday haha

Pingu30 · 19/01/2018 13:25

Interesting!

I'd never have thought there.

Thank you, I'll have a look :)

Have you tried Zara? I got a pair there last week for €13 (about £10??). Black, skinny, mid-rise, actually quite thick decent denim. Lots of compliments, which to me is weird Grin they're just jeans!

I did try on 5 pairs in Primark and they all ALL had holes where others had tried them on and pulled them up by the beltloops. I wouldn't buy jeans from there.

FauxFox · 19/01/2018 13:35

The only way I buy jeans is in TKMaxx - I choose every pair in my size and the size below/above that I like the look of and try on about 30 pairs. I have never failed to find a pair or two that I like under £25 a go (sometimes even designer brands). It's a massive faff but worth it once a year Grin

RatherBeRiding · 19/01/2018 15:02

Another vote for Primark. Cheap as chips and they actually fit me extremely well and come in a range of inside leg sizes, and a range of styles from high waist to relaxed to super skinny.

Also New Look jeans fit me extremely well. And won't break the bank.

lindyloo57 · 19/01/2018 18:47

i just brought two pairs from H&M £17.99 a pair, fit very well, i do struggle with skinnie jeans, as i have slim hips so they nearly always slip down.

JaceLancs · 19/01/2018 19:40

Second for tkmaxx here, some of their brands even do half sizes

Ofthread · 19/01/2018 19:56

Asos are amazing.

WhooooAmI24601 · 19/01/2018 19:57

I like H&M's skinny jeans, they do some called Shaping for around £40 which are great.

Next 360 are good, too.

rightknockered · 19/01/2018 19:59

Do H and M jeans come true to size?

Dizzybacon · 19/01/2018 19:59

Levi’s 311 shaping skinny jeans. Not cheap at 70 quid a pair but look perfect on 😊

CountFosco · 19/01/2018 20:03

Another vote for ASOS. I search for petite jeans my size, exclude all ripped versions then buy the rest and have a massive trying on session at home. Dare I say it M&S are prwtty good as well.

WhooooAmI24601 · 19/01/2018 20:05

rightknockered I find they do, yes, but only the shaping ones. The others are either huge or tiny regardless of size.

AiryFairy1991 · 19/01/2018 20:13

I’m going to suggest Levi too. I buy from their Outlet store so you can pick up a pair for between £40 and £50. They’re the only jeans I can get to fit well!

Hatingliferightnow · 19/01/2018 20:55

Next 360 are amazing

choccybiscuit · 19/01/2018 21:07

New look hallie skinny jeans so not go baggy at all! And they're high waisted so tuck everything in too! £26.99

Pingu30 · 19/01/2018 21:35

H&M. I'm surprised at that. As I say, I'm a 10/12 but whenever I try on there, I need a size 372828766 in jeans 😂.

I'm always apprehensive with online (ASOS etc) as I never know how true to size they'll be!

Sainsbury’s high waisted.

Notmybag · 20/01/2018 09:16

Ive said it before - sainsburys for me. I but the regular skinny rather than The high waisted

Tatapie · 20/01/2018 09:27

Next for me - I like their slim range and find the cheapest the best £20.

quackingduck222 · 20/01/2018 09:41

I love the asda wonderfit skinnies. They are dual sizes 8-10, 10-12 and they have a lot of stretch but when you wash them they shrink back to the way they were. I think they were £20 and seem to last forever.

PootlesLovelyHat · 20/01/2018 09:42

Another vote for TKMaxx, I also take all the jeans in my size and always come out with 3 or 4 pairs. It also means I only have to go through this once a year or so Wink

LucyMorningStar · 20/01/2018 09:45

Primark jeans are ok until the first wash. Same with H&M.

My absolute favourite are Gap ones. Miss Selfridges are good too.

KnobJockey · 20/01/2018 10:32

If you want to try on in store, try m&s. I've surprised myself before and had really nice jeans there fir under £20 (full price). The standard cut has a good high rise, they are quite a good thick denim, and they fit a pair of hips and chunky thighs inside! No sagging either.

Friedgreen · 20/01/2018 10:36

Gap
