I'm trying to buy a new bra, as my current one is a nursing bra that I don't now need, and is pretty unsupportive. I bought an M&S one yesterday that seemed to fit well in the shop (I used the bra intervention way of measuring) but now I'm wearing it today, the wires are really uncomfortable and dig into my ribs if I lean forwards. How uncomfortable are underwired bras meant to be to begin with?! My old one wasn't wired. Or do underwires just not suit me and I need to find a good non wired one? And if so where from?!
I'm quite fat if that makes a difference, and wearing a size 36F.
