Thick socks help

Hi ladies, my much worn thick socks from H&M are falling apart, and I need to replace them... they need to be as thick as 2 pairs of the thin/lightweight type of sock as my boots are too big without them Blush and not contain any wool as I'm allergic.
Also not sports socks as they go too baggy on my skinny feet.
I know this isn't really style and beauty... but what socks do you all wear? I don't have time to go shopping...and if I have a day off work it won't be for socks ha ha!

I agree about heat holders, very warm and thick

BAM socks are thick, for thin socks (rather than sports/hiking socks).

My OH bought me some lovely thick socks from Fat Face for Christmas.

If you get good quality hiking socks they have different tensions in different parts of the socks so they support the foot and don't get baggy. They also last forever

Primark thermal socks with a thin pair under?

janizary · 18/01/2018 23:13

I have this exact problem, been wearing out all my thick h&m ones as they stopped them over 18 months ago now, primark don't do their similar ones anymore either Sad

The closest I have found is asda, still normal sock fabric but just thick for in my boots as I have really narrow feet and rubbish circulation! They are not quite as good as the h&m ones but a close second, you'll be able to see/feel the right ones in store but this is one of the designs I got, I also got some brighter navy/pink mix ones.

Thanks everyone! Some good suggestions.
Will check out Asda first as I practically live there... but I'm sure all I've seen is flimsy ones. Glad I'm not the only ones missing the H&M socks. I'm trying to make them last but I keep putting my finger through them Hmm

I have exactly the same problem and swear by jolly good socks. Expensive, but brilliant for keeping boots on!

Tipmeupandpourmeout · 19/01/2018 13:36

I bought some seasalt socks in the sale and they are so thick and comfortable!
