Hair dye

Hello,
Does anyone dye their mousy to mid brown hair blonde with ok results? Using a shop bought hair dye?

Just paid £90 for half head of highlights and a cut. The colour is ok when down but when up looks stripy when up! I'm sick of paying such a lot
Of money every 6-8 weeks

I've done it a few times, I just buy whichever one is on offer, most products have similar colours

Do you get ok results? I'm scared it goes to light, brassy or warm at roots
