Warmest gloves ever please

I bought myself some gloves from John Lewis which were meant to be really warm but they aren't at all. I can barely feel my fingers after a short walk!

Can you suggest a really warm pair of gloves please?

North face ‘paws’ with silk liners.

Mittens, I'm afraid - allows a larger pocket of warm air around the fingers, as they're all enclosed together. I have sheepskin ones...always had cold hands in gloves before, and never, ever since!

I buy hand warmers from Sports Direct to keep inside my gloves. Bliss!!

I second north face, I used to wear them when I lived in east coast US, which gets really cold. Not exactly stylish though.

Mittens - just bought a ski pair in Aldi for £10 and the are so much warmer than my old pair of Ugg sheepskin gloves, which I have just lost...grrr. Mittens are annoying of course but so are cold hands!

I have a pair of woollen mittens with a fleece lining, I bought them from the ski section in go outdoors

not the most stylish, but once a year - autumn I think - Aldi has cycling gloves. They have some gaudy colours but I always get the black ones and they are windproof and seriously the most cosy gloves I have ever owned. And cheap as chips.

Layering!

Thin pair of silk gloves, then ski-ing mitts or gloves. Mitts are warmer, but if you need gloves, then try Trespass or Decathlon, both of which have good quality ones, often on discount.

Seal skinz

(They are not made of seal).

Warm and waterproof. Great gloves, size comes up small, I would say.

Mittens are infinitely warmer

My ugg gloves are seriously warm. I have very cold hands and they’re the only glove that works for me. Not very stylish though!

Try the gloves with silver as used by Reynards sufferers.

I second Seal skinz really warm and totally waterproof.
