Beach Tote - LV monogram or Goyard

Does anyone have both and they can share their thoughts with me or have another similar tote?

It's for a summer holiday and needs to be good for the plane, walking around and possibly the beach.

I would prefer a more beachy bag for beach (how helpful), I mean straw maybe, lighter than leather.

I have both the LV and goyard (the LV is 15 yrs+, the other maybe 8). I like the goyard much more, but it is less durable. I use it less but it is showing signs of wear on the handle, looks worse.

Have a look at celine cabas phantom tote, It's very nice and has less obvious branding, which I prefer.

The cabas is beautiful but a little over my budget ❤️

I did a cruise last year out of Southampton, so didn't fly, but I took my Large Longchamp Le Pliage Neo Tote. Good for the travel docs etc, not too heavy for walking around and for using as a pool bag when we were on board ship. It only has a very small internal slip pocket, but I have a lightweight purse and couple of pouches from Kipling which I used for passports/iPod/Kindle etc.

I'm flying this year when we go on hols (2 weeks in Greece), and it's what I intend taking for plane/destination.

I have a le Pliage, it's brilliant. It'll be my stand by or I do quite fancy a new one with the coloured not tan handles x
