Rucksack/Backpack recommendation?

Which backpacks/rucksacks do you use for day to day? I want something to fit all the kids things and my stuff rather than having a handbag on my shoulder.

I took a chance on this and I'm very pleased with it

TK Maxx had some nice ones when I last went in too.

I did see a bag like a large tote which could also be worn as a backpack, I'm trying to think where it was, I thought it was great, very versatile. I'll come back if I remember!

Fjallraven do good tote/rucksack convertible ones. It really depends on whether you want a nice looking leather one, or a super practical one. I have a plain Herschel one which I use every day, and has lasted brilliantly, but it's not the most exciting bag I've ever had

Osprey are good and Lowe Alpine, look in Blacks and Cotswold Outdoors. Some are more commuter based with sections for a laptop etc.I think you'll not go far wrong with one of those.
These are good deals as well www.sportpursuit.com/catalog/product/view/id/1258115
