What do I wear for lunch at Le Manoire?

Going for a special occasion with family group. No idea what I would wear for something like this.

My wardrobe pretty much breaks into:
Smart work wear (think short tweed type skirts, fine knit tops, loafers)
Weekend gym wear
Casual (jeans, jumpers etc)
V smart (e.g. cocktail dress, dresses for weddings)

Not sure I have anything that slots into this type of occasion although wondering if I can cobble something together from pieces I have. (e.g. have smart coats, smart bag)

What would you wear to an occasion like this?

If it helps I am tall (5'10), slim (size 10), very straight up and down, no boobs. Colouring blondey brown hair, fairish skin, don't tend to suit black too close to my face. Age - 40

Wear whatever you like and is smart enough - you'd feel out of place in your gym wear / jeans I think!

Is it a special occasion? What is the context? Big party or 2 of you?

If you can I'd buy a smart knee length dress, not too fashion but simple and in colour that suits you - the sort of thing you can recycle for any smart occasion.

Depending on budget I'd look at Goat www.goatfashion.com (£££) or Jaeger Outlet www.jaeger.co.uk/outlet?gclid=CjwKCAiAqIHTBRAVEiwA6TgJw25kfh0Tj7CLGt88mVbzZCkPE4ZO4cordGs--yaAr0O7jgM0rTdrGxoCkBcQAvD_BwE

Thank you. It is a family group so 10 of us.

Yes not a gym-wear place Grin was more to show my wardrobe is kind of two extremes either v smart or v casual.

Like the idea of a dress, I am feeling a slightly less formal dress than those I currently own would potentially fill a gap, will take a look.

Very envious- Manoir is one of my favourite places in the world, and the food is amazing! Make sure you have a walk around the gardens- they are fabulous.

Agree that a dress would work, or maybe some wide legged trousers and a top? MIght be more versitile and useful in the future. But don't fret too much- the staff there are always lovely and welcoming - although it's v "fancy" it's also v relaxed and welcoming.
