Pencil skirt with belt loops

Im after a skirt for work but dont want part of a suit. I'd like a skirt with a reasonably high waist and belt loops as I have a great collection of skinny belts in metallics and colours . Not having much luck. I used to have one from Sainsbury's of all places which lasted me years!

I wear belts with things that don’t have belt loops. If they’re skinny they’ll just sit there.

I saw a "hack" somewhere (hate that word!) that suggested you could create belt loops on any skirt by using two safety pins - attach them on the inside with the pointy bit coming through onto the outside then going back in again before fastening. Do it on each side and they are enough to hold your belt in place whilst being unobtrusive. Never tried it, but you could try it on a skirt you already own?
