If yes can you reccomend a good one. For smartening up skinneys and wearing over dresses...

Blazers will never be not cool! (crosses fingers, gazes balefully at wardrobe with a score of blazers)

Lavish Alice make great fashion blazers. If you've the money then Ralph Lauren or Hugo Boss for something that will last for years.

And if you're lucky, M&S. I have a blazer from there nearly a decade old that comes out at least once a week. It's been everywhere with me from edging up a black tie dress to court appearances to cover up at a car boot sale.

I don't know if they are cool, they look bloody awful on me....much too conservative.

I think blazers have a place - there are not many instances where I’d pair a blazer with a dress, as most of the time the formality of a blazer doesn’t match the dress, but I wear them all the time with non matching trousers at work, and with skinnies. I have a lovely, slightly long burgundy velvet blazer that I wear with a v neck grey tee, skinnies and ankle boots.

Massimo Dutti does great blazers. For £££ the Kooples also do nice ones. They are one thing you can often pick up cheaply at the end of the sales.
