Coast Wedding Dress, Sizing Advice

Hi S&B folk [waves]

I have an awards do to attend next month, it's black tie and don't have anythingthat would suit.

I have very little budget but had been looking at coast dresses in ebay (not fussed about wearing something 2nd hand, will dry clean).

I can be a size 6, 8, 10 depending on the shop e.g. next, m&a =6, topshop=8.

Does anyone know how coast dresses usually come up size wise, I've looked at some that say 8 and quite a few sellers have said it would fit a 10 as well.

They're pretty generous - I'm plus size and have always managed to fit into their stuff

It depends on the fit and where the zip is but I'm a large 12 and their 12 fits me.

Hmm I have had a totally different experience at PP. Maybe it's just body shape but it felt to me that they are quite small on the top and big on the bottom. Anyway good luck!

Oh that's funny, I'm big all over but have GG boobs and still no problem with fit

Oh I'm now quite excited for this arriving just for the fit alone - it'll need taken up anyway but have a tailor close by. I got it on eBay (was new with tags and a bit of a steal, not only a steal if it fits!) If not has tags so could resell easily. Here's hoping it'll fit!

Awaiting delivery at the moment vanilla - i do realise it will be a false economy if it doesn't but didn't have the money to buy one at full price and by the time I do, the event will have been and gone. I'm pretty limited for shops where I am so online was the only option really and can resell if it doesn't.

Am curious to see whether the clothes are true to size.

Apologies the pic isn't the best but I'm really happy with it! It's an 8, due to elastication in the waist I could possibly have worn a 6 so would say yes, depending on style the fitting is accurate/a little generous.

Fancy evening so sorted for £20! (Plus tailor at £7)

As there's jewels along the neck line, I can use my spare pennies to get a standout clutch to go with it

Oh and i had chosen something with a looser rather than fitted style as there's a 3 course meal to be had...no way am I attempting that in something too fitted!!
