I have two close friends weddings to go to this year, one in June, one in October. It always takes me forever to decide on an outfit for things like this, so looking for inspiration/opinions.

So far, I think I quite like this:

www.little-mistress.com/paper-dolls-multi-crochet-dress-p7619

But I also like this bizarre creation:

www.coast-stores.com/p/savannah-printed-jumpsuit/1916698

I’m 35, size 10, and unfortunately only 5ft 2, so the jumpsuit won’t work, and the dress doesn’t come in petite. I’ve worn their petite stuff before and it was a good fit. I might order it to try as I’d be happy for it not sit above the knee anyway.

Based on what I’ve posted, can anyone inspire me further?

They are both lovely for a wedding. I've got no suggestions other than could you get a good dressmaker to alter the dress?

Thanks Falang. Maybe. I’ve just never had clothes altered any more than having an inch or two lopped off a skirt. And £80 is a lot to spend if it doesn’t work out so that I have to buy something else. Don’t know how easy it would be with the crochet type fabric either.

I bloody hate being wee

Is this too bridesmaidy? Too long for me anyway unless this bring out a petite version. Would it be impossible for a dressmaker to shorten due to the pleats?
