Fitness gear and underwear

Sorry for the personal question... I've been going to the gym for about a year and usually wear track pants as I don't like VPL. If you wear leggings what do you wear underneath? Is there such thing as comfy VPL proof underwear?

Yep - you can buy it in most supermarkets- I've bought it in Sainsbury's and Tesco as well as M&S

If you wear decent, thick sports leggings you can wear nothing underneath.

Always a thong. Much more comfortable for me than full brief.

I wear thongs under leggings and coloured bras as you can see the straps with a lot of the tops I wear. I'm only a 32b so don't wear a sports bra.

I'd rather have a VPL than go without pants. But I do yoga so am not getting sweaty so don't need to wash my clothes after every session.

I wear M&S modal shorts-style knickers (think they're billed as no VPL) under leggings for gym and running. Thongs really don't seem to work with my body shape: god knows I'm frequently uncomfortable enough in the gym without giving myself a perma-wedgie.

Have been wearing boy shorts but thinking of trying something else as suffering from chafing on long runs.

BitOutOfPractice · 16/01/2018 21:42

I wear proper running leggings and no pants. I feel like a rebel now

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 16/01/2018 21:47

I can't bear to be without my lovely white cotton sloggi knickers.
Even with running/yoga leggings.
I just don't like the "commando" feel- willing to have the VPL.
I suspect I am in the minority here-but just not for me.
I'll have to be a rebel another way now very sad I can't think of any

Yep, the ultimate solution to VPL is wearing whatever pants you like b at and not giving a shit. Seriously, in the nicest way, nobody cares.
