Using my name change as I don't want ex DH to see this and I know he looks here.
I am going to a big legal thing in Japan in February. I am SO excited.
What to buy from the beauty shops? Pharmacies? I don't wear make up, so any serums, skin creams or other magic products you can recommend?
Thank you!

OK, I have zero make up experience but would consider it (foundation maybe) if a miracle product...

They make great ones in Japan!.

On another note woyld recommend the weird jelly sweets that look like they have a baby alien inside them- so jealous!

Check out the Loft they have good skincare at reasonable prices. My favorite Japanese shop the homeware is really good so is their tech section.

If you find an innisfree ( it’s Korean but should be some in Japan) then their cushion foundations and powders are incredible quality and not v expensive.
SkinFood face masks ( the rice wash off mask in particular).

You lucky thing! I’d love to be let loose in a Japanese beauty store. Japanese SPFs are fantastic. Very light and non greasy. Biore is a great range (I order on eBay from Japan to get them). There’s a website called fifty shades of snail which reviews Asian skincare- it’s great and you’ll find loads of inspiration on there.
