What colours go well with dark green? Thank you!

I love the 'wine and vine' combo of dark green and dark purple that's towards the red wine end of the scale rather than the Cadbury's purple. Mustard and cream also look great Why do you ask?

Cadbury's purple would make it look like you were helping out at Wimbledon.

Cream or Navy blue, but it depends, on what kind of item the dark green is on and what the other colour will be on.

I'm wearing a dark (bottle) green cashmere cardigan with a navy dress right now.

Navy, black, pale biscuity colours. Mustard/ burgundy for accents rather than large blocks of colour.

I wear dark green with navy (any blue actually, blue and green are gorgeous together) or black.

Deep pink or orange. Turquoise could work well. Or lime green. Actually I think most colours, except brown (merry men), red (santa's little helper) or purple (cub scout). Actually, orange might be a bit Chalet School. But hot pink and brown look gorgeous together. Like Turkish Delight, in a good way.

Just remembered we're talking about green, not brown, so ignore the Chalet School and Turkish Delight bit.

I'm wearing my oversized, sparkly dark green jumper with a black and white houndstooth mini skirt and DocMartens boots in oxblood and I'm loving it.

I watched the trace reaction of the Arnolfini marriage dress on a stitch in time this week, it made me want green clothes. In the painting She wore the green with a night blue underneath, it looks fab.

I went on eBay and immediately started searching for emerald and dark green clothes. Got a pice pair of trousers for £1.70.

Absolutely love dark bottle green with a soft pink. It's the only combination I'd consider wearing pale pink in, love it.

Joining in because I just rashly bought this green trench, super-reduced last week and all I could think to wear it with was all black.
