Who to follow on Instagram

That's it really. I am late 40s, size 14/16 and looking for some style inspiration. I am not so adventurous but would like to look polished and slightly less scruffy that I usually manage. Any ideas please.

I like That's Not My Age - Alyson Walsh - although I think her style runs a bit older than mine probably will, when I figure one out. (ha) Her IG feels restful to me, and not frantic, like some of the other Instagram people.

Thanks Catherine - I do follow That's Not My Age, and like her but it's about the only one I know! And you are right - she is a serene voice in a frantic place!

I started following Does My Bum Look 40 but I don't get much out of it. (I am 38 btw) - all I seem to see her wear are blazers, t-shirt and some form of trousers with some form of trainer, or printed long dresses and dangly earrings. And it seems to be about selling a sort of Lovely London Life that isn't me at all.

I also started following M Hulot Accessories based on a That's Not My Age bag mention, as I only like un-flashy bags and will not buy any with an obvious logo etc. They show pictures of people with their bags in the wild so to speak so maybe that would be useful?

Not on Instagram but the Parisienne style threads here are really good and have put the fun back into dressing up for me.

Styled by Susie is good but I don’t always like or agree with her combinations.
