Hair and nail vitamins

Hello, wondering if anyone has tried vitamins tablets to improve the condition of their hair?
About 6 months ago my hairdresser said I ought to see a tricologist about the condition of my hair as it’s very fine at the end and going wiry. I had told her of the moisturising products I was using to wash the hair. She said a tricologist would look at my hair and probably suggest what to do
Instead of forking out £60 to see the tricologist I bought some hair and nail vitamins from healthspan and have been taking them for about 5 months. Last time I saw the hairdresser she could not find any difference in my hair yet saying it takes a while for them to help. I’m wondering if anyone could recommend any such vitamins that have helped them. Thanks

Watching with interest. I'm using a shampoo to reduce falling, this serum and Biotin gummies.

Right now I'll try anything to increase growth/thickness and volume Sad

biotin and sea kelp seemed to work for me, helped my nails grow strong too

Will have a look at those. I went into Holland and Barrett yesterday to see what hair vitamins were sold there, I was amazed that so many different vitamins are being sold there so there must be loads of people using them but I’ve not heard of any recommendations or past experience of them which is why I’m posting on here

I've taken folic acid and a general multivitamin for a year and it's only the past few months that I've noticed a difference. My hair was much thinner,I now have lots of short regrowth but the lengths are still noticeably thin.

I’ve been taking the Tesco hair and nails vitamins for about 10 months or so. The ends of my hair are still split but it’s older than 10 months, the rest is in better condition, as are my nails. But I’m not swimming so much as I was then, so that could be the reason.

I've been using Biotin for about a year. The difference is amazing. My nails in particular have stopped flaking and grow very fast, but my hair is looking much fuller too. I lose far less in the shower, and it has grown faster than it used to.

DD3 has been doing the same as me and has grown a mane in the same amount of time.
