Low hairline waxing - weird idea or ok?

I have a very low hairline at the back/sides of my neck, and since cutting my hair in a bob find it looks awful tied up, with long hairs sticking out of half my neck.

Do people wax their hairline? Would a normal salon find it a weird request?

You’d be better off getting it lasered if it bothers you that much.

I've heard of women getting it threaded...so I don't think it's an unusual request.

Will look into lasering too, I've no idea about cost/permanence.

I'm a very hairy person, should probably bathe in Veet and have it over and done with...
