Hi - has anyone got these boots that can advise me please .
I have been given a pair by a friend.
They are size UK 5.5 EU 38
I always wear a Uk 5 or eU 38 in pretty much anything

They fit but are a bit tricky to get on ( high instep) and feel a bit tight over the top of my foot.

I love them though !

Anyone know if they will give much or is it worth risking going up a size?

If not I am sadly going to have to return them !

I’m having the exact same issue with a pair I had for Xmas. I also have a high instep. They are a PITA to get on. But when they are on the feel ok I’ve only worn them around the house.

I did have a pair a few years back that I couldn’t get my feet into but couldn’t exchange as dh had lost the receipt and they did fit over time. I used to have to put them on with nappy sacks over my feet then tear them to wear them.

I had some Noira years ago which I couldn't get my feet into . I already had a pair and ordered another pair for when they wore out but I had to sell them on in the end . I even went to a shop and tried to get them on to no avail . I think they have changed them .

Thanks for replies - it's making me think I might have to return them.
They do go on okay with thin socks but I need to know they would be comfortable.
Wonder if this is why they were reduced !!
Quacking your reply made me laugh as DH bought me some knee high Dubarry boots for Xmas and I have been on another thread discussing all the tactics to get those on and off due to high instep !
Don't think I can have two pairs of boots in my life that are a struggle !!
Thankfully the Dubarrys are loosening up a treat !

I read that thread even bookmarked it as I was having the same struggles as you.

My other uggs they were snow boots I think definitely gave and I wore them with socks in the end. I didn’t think I’d be having this problem again as my feet have actually srunk.

I can’t exchange mine as they are completely sold out. I looked up reviews on my boots on amazon and it seems it’s a common problem.

I can’t under what a high instep has to do with getting the swines on. Grin

That's funny quacking - honestly I have never had any issues with my high instep before this year. I guess it's just different styles - my foot obviously must go in at a higher angle due to instep and then get stuck between the leg bit and the foot bit of the boot ( if that makes any sense at all !)
I am still dithering - if I knew they would give I think it would be fine.
I just looked at the Hush bikers as an alternative as I liked those too but I am too late and they are all sold out ...
good luck with yours.
